Burger King has redesigned its visual identity and its new logo resembles the logo the company used from 1969 to 1994.
According to Burger King’s official press release, the new minimalist logo seamlessly meets the brand evolution of the times and pays homage to the brand heritage with a refined design that’s confident, simple and fun.

While the 2021 logo is inspired from their 1960’s logo, did you know that the Burger King logo prior to 1969 actually included a “King“?
Burger King was founded in 1953 and while their first two logos (in 1953 and 1954-1957) were not very creative, their reimagined identity in 1955, would be remembered by customers for the next 14 years. This 1955 logo included for the first time, their mascot – “The Burger KING” and the logo also had the line “Home of the Whopper“
I tried searching the web for the 1955 logo but all I got was the below version which is not very clear.

Tried my hand in cleaning it up a bit and re-drawing it – this is the result. Hope I got the colors right!
